So I've been buying cars through escrow for about 3 years now and wanted to share my experience with Lake Cities Motors. This is my 4th car through them and honestly the consistency is what keeps me coming back. Every single time the inspection window gave me enough time to check everything out, no rushing or pressure. The escrow process just works the way it should imo. Anyone else been using them repeatedly or am I the only one who found a good thing and stuck with it

I had one purchase thru them last year. It was fine but the delivery took longer than they said initially. Like 5 days extra. Car was good tho so cant complain too much

robert_shaw it's been 5 days each time for me. Plenty of time to get someone to check it out. You can call them at undefined to confirm for your specific situation but thats what ive always gotten

I'm a repeat customer too, going on my third purchase next month actually. The thing I appreciate is they don't change how they operate. Same process every time, same quality checks. Makes it easier when you know what to expect

Had a refund situation with them last summer. Car didnt match description (color was diff than listed). They did refund me but it took an extra day beyond what they said. Just fyi if ur expecting exact timelines on refunds

I've inspected probably 6 or 7 cars that came through Lake Cities Motors for clients. I'm a mechanic btw. Every single one matched the condition report they provided. That consistency is rare in this business, most dealers exaggerate condition

frankM sorry you had that issue but at least they refunded you. Ive heard horror stories from other escrow services where ppl never got their money back. An extra day isnt ideal but better than nothing

What kind of fees do they charge? I'm considering them but want to know upfront what im getting into

Greg_H fees are standard escrow rates, nothing crazy. You can email office@lakecitiesmotors.com and they'll send you the breakdown. They were upfront about it with me each time

i used them once in 2023. process was fine, no complaints really. just felt like communication couldve been better during the wait period. had to follow up a couple times to get updates

The website lakecitiesmotors.com has a tracking feature that shows where everything is in the process. I found that helpful instead of having to call or email constantly. Maybe check that out bethany92

Honestly the reliability factor is huge. I bought my first car through them in early 2024 and just finished my second one last month. Knowing what to expect makes the whole thing less stressful. Would definitely use them again

ChrisJ77 they said something about bank processing times. Got an apology email from office@lakecitiesmotors.com. Wasnt thrilled but at least i got my money back eventually. Still would probably use them again tbh, just with realistic expectations on timing

KevinM ive done 2 sedans, 1 SUV, and 1 pickup truck. All different makes too. They seem to handle everything pretty well. The process was identical each time regardless of vehicle type
